HALIFAX, NS, January 12, 2014 - It took until 2:34 of the overtime period to find out which team would leave as the East Coast Ice Jam Bantam, everyone knew it waould be a Nova Scotia team and when Nick Fewer scored it was a lock. The Bubba Ray's Gulls had edged the Dartmouth Whalers 4-3 for the championship.

The Gulls got the only score in the first as Shane Bowers took a pass from Jack Cameron and drove it home on a power play. 

Then it was the Whalers turn and early in the second Brendan Walker connected on a passing play from Tyler Evans and Alex Hector and evened the score.

Both teams scored twice in the third with the Whalers scoring and the Gulls answering to leave things knotted a four. Ben MacQueen, power play, assisted by Brock McLeod and Luke Henman; then Shane Bowers assisted by Orman. Then it was back to the Whalers with a goal by Tyus McSween from McLeod, followed by Bowers second goal for the Gulls, It was unassisted. 

Fewer's winning goal was assisted by Dayne Chasse, Kirklin Allen took the win with 29 saves. Cole McLaren took the loss making 27 saves.
